It is easy to install, easy to operate, and it requires no additional software, although a CD-ROM is included for easy setup. An Ethernet cable and router are required to connect to your network and/or the Internet; both are sold separately.

With a simple Ethernet connection, the Pan/Tilt Network Camera is Universal Plug & Play compatible. A built-in security motion detector provides sensor-triggered actions and external device control. Once you're connected, up to 30 users can view your camera's feed simultaneously through Viewnetcam.com, a free dynamic domain name service provided by Panasonic that allows you to assign an easy-to-remember name to your camera. Since this camera has Web-based viewing along with remote pan and tilt functions, you can adjust your camera's angles from a computer or even a cell phone from another location.
Mount the Plug & Play Pan/Tilt Network Camera on a desk, ceiling or tripod using the included mounting materials. You can even install an SD memory card (sold separately) to store and replay image data.
