Details and Specifications
Easy to Program and Control Securely
Programming the SecureLinc panel is easy, using the large, backlit buttons and the LCD screen. You can also mount a Wireless 2-Way Keypad by any entry to your home where it will communicate your commands acting as a remote panel controller. The wireless keypad receives status reports from the SecureLinc panel, so you'll know at a glance what the status of the system is as well as if any events occurred while you were out. Transmit signals to your Smarthome SecureLinc Wireless Home Security System using a keyfob transmitter. A keyfob transmitter allows you to arm your panel in home or away mode, disarm your panel or transmit an X10 lighting command. Upon pressing any of the four recessed buttons, the keyfob transmits a CodeSecure™ digital sequence along with a 4-bit function code associated with the button that was pressed. Different digital sequences are transmitted each time, so that malicious code grabbing is almost impossible.

Includes Pet Immune Motion Sensors
Pet immune motion sensors are included in this kit which mean that the system will not be triggered falsely when your cat or dog walks across the protected room. Due to their smaller profile, pets can be ignored by the pet immune motion sensors preventing a false alarm. With a coverage area of 30 by 30 feet, these fully supervised detectors will keep an eye on your home when you're not around.

Built in Siren and Phone Dialer
When it detects an alarm signal from one of the wireless sensors, the alarm system blasts an 85dB siren that not only alerts your family, but also sends would-be thieves fleeing. You can also connect a 122dB outside alarm, which will alert the neighborhood. In addition, you can program it to call any private phone number (i.e.: a friend or neighbor, your office, your wireless phone, etc.) and play a pre-recorded message in your own voice if connected to your standard telephone or to a cellular network (via the GSM Modem). It doesn't even need its own dedicated phone line! It also supports 24-hour monitoring by commercial alarm monitoring personnel, who can dispatch police, fire or medical response (depending on the type of alert it receives). It can even call you for non-alarm events. For example, want to know that your kids arrived home safely from school? The security system can call you at the office to let you know that your child successfully disarmed the alarm.

Individual User Codes and Message Center
The SecureLinc Wireless Home Security System supports up to 8 individual user codes, so each member of your household can have an independent code ID. It also doubles as a message center, so you can hear and leave messages up to 20 seconds for other family members. User names for codes 5-8 can be recorded and will be played during a Latchkey report.

Connect hard-wired Sensors and Sirens
You can also connect hard-wired sensors, such as wired Window/door contact sensors and Low temperature sensors to the SecureLinc system. Click HERE for the wiring diagram.

Internet Connectivity Via an Optional PowerLinc Web Interface Controller
Connect your SecureLinc to the PowerLinc Web Interface Controller (sold separately) for remote control of your security system from any Internet-connected computer in the world. The PowerLink also allows remote or on-site visual surveillance, connecting to up to four (4) wired or wireless cameras (each sold separately).

Dial-out via the Cellular Network using the GSM Modem
You can double your peace of mind by knowing that even if phone lines are down, your security system is still able to call you. Install the GSM Modem for the SecureLinc Wireless Home Security system, and your system will be able to use a cellular line to dial out as a backup to your standard telephone line. For the many homes that no longer maintain a landline, the GSM Modem allows operation over a cellular network instead of a telephone network. Just get a SIM card from your cell service provider (Medem works only with cellular providers supporting the GSM standard (e.g., AT&T).

Please NOTE: since there's only one (1) external port on the SecureLinc Wireless Home Security system you can EITHER connect the PowerLinc Web Interface Controller, OR the GSM modem -- NOT both.

You can also sign up for Professional Alarm Monitoring Services, with Alarm Relay Company, a nationwide provider of professional alarm monitoring services. They provide professional alarm monitoring for about a third of what it would cost through other providers (Unlike other, more expensive security monitoring services, Alarm Relay monitoring is geared for do-it-yourselfers who are adept at maintaining the hardware of the system: If a battery in the panel or wireless sensor goes bad, you'll be able to fix it yourself. Trucks and technicians only add to the cost of monthly monitoring, which is why you can sign up for such a low price. When you sign up for alarm monitoring, a trained technician will phone you and you'll punch in the same codes an alarm installer would to get your system hooked up to the central station.)
Alarm Relay CO., which has been monitoring alarms for decades, operates a state-of-the-art facility in San Diego, California, that serves alarm customers across the country. Alarm Relay's central station is also UL-Listed, which means it has passed a series of inspections by the nation's foremost rating agency, Underwriters Laboratories. Call 1.866.881.9220 to sign up.

Important Note:
While "Voice Over IP" can work with a home alarm system, we do not recommend it. If for any reason you lose your Internet connectivity - due to a power outage or problem with your Internet service provider, for example - "Voice Over IP" will not work, and your alarm system will not be able to make an emergency call if it's triggered. For this reason we recommend you keep a basic traditional landline dedicated to your home alarm system and use "Voice Over IP" for the rest of your calling needs.
