How do you place an order?
It's easy. The navigation bar on the left allows
you to easily switch between product categories. Simply click on the desired product
category (next to a Shopping Cart icon.)
Next, all products within a selected category is displayed. To
get a larger Picture and more Details about the
product, click on its Picture. To
ADD
a product to your basket, simply click the green 'Add One To Basket' or 'Add To Basket' button. You
may switch to another product category listing at any time by clicking on
another category in the left navigation bar.
Your basket contents are displayed on the
right
navigation bar.
Changed your mind on the type and number of products you desire? Simply click
on the ' Saved Cart' button in the top navigation bar,
and adjust your order. You may do this at any time.
When you are finished shopping, click the
red 'Checkout'
button, then follow the sequence shown below.
- First, you'll be presented with the contents of your shopping cart. Make sure that that it lists the items that you want to order, with the appropriate quantities. If not, make the requires changes. After you're satisfied, do as follows:
- Select one of the three checkout methods, by clicking either on the 'Standard Checkout via PayPal for Business' button or, on the 'Google Checkout button, or on the Amazon Checkout button. All the checkout methods accept the major credit cards.
- NOTE: In order to use the Google or Amazon checkout, you have to already have a Google or Amazon account, respectively, -- or you can establish one on the fly while you're checking out.
- Regardless of which checkout method you use Netropolus Co, will NOT ever see your credit card information

The following steps describe the Standard Checkout (via PayPal for Business):
- If you are a NEW customer, please fill out the
Delivery Information (shipping & billing
address). Click the "Continue" button. If
you are a Returning customer you'll skip this
step (provided that you've already Signed-in --
if you haven't, you'll be asked to Log in.)
- Next, if you have a COUPON, enter the code. Click
the "Continue" button.
- Your PAYMENT INFORMATION will be presented on the screen " Click the Continue" button. You'll be transferred to the secure PayPal payment processing website.
- Select your credit card of choice or PayPal, and enter
your credit information.)
Follow instructions. When you see the
button: Return to
Netropolus,
click on it to display your Invoice.
- Finally, we recommend that you print out your
Invoice -- for your records.
The following steps describe the Google Checkout process:
- After clicking on the Google checkout box, you are transferred from the Netropolus website to the Google checkout site. If you are a NEW Google customer, please create a Google account. If
you are a Returning Google customer enter your Google email ID and password.
- Next, if you have a COUPON, enter the code. Click
the "Apply" box.
- Your PAYMENT INFORMATION will be presented on the screen. If satisfied with what you see, click the the "Place you order now " box else, click the "Back" icon on your browser to make corrections.
The following steps describe the Amazon Checkout process:
- After clicking on the Amazon checkout box, you are transferred from the Netropolus website to the Amazon checkout site. If you are a NEW Amazon customer, please create an Amazon account. If
you are a Returning Amazon customer enter your Amazon ID and password.
- Follow Amazon's instructions
NOTE: With all three checkout methods, you'll receive an order confirmation email, listing the items you've ordered and the amount that will be charged to your credit card or PayPal account. When the order ships, you'll also receive an email with the shipping company's Tracking number.

I'm having trouble placing an order, what should I do?
Ensure that you have your javascript and cookies on.
. For Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy (or
Advanced), and check the correct options (slide the bar to the lowest settings ->
Accept all cookies).
. For Firefox, go to: Edit > Preferences >
Advanced and check the correct boxes.

How much is shipping and Handling?
Shipping& Handling charges (Typically FedEx SmartPost standard ground -- FedEx does the long distance hauling of your package, the US Post office makes the local delivery.) within the 48 contiguous states (we
do NOT ship to Alaska and Hawaii) are as follows:
For orders between $0 and $75 - shipping is $7.95
For orders between $75.01 and $200 - shipping is $8.95
For orders between $200.01 and $500 - shipping is $10.95
For orders between $500.01 and $1,000 - shipping is $6.95
For orders over $1,000 - shipping is free
Your package is usually processed and shipped within 1-3 business days, with standard
time in transit 5-10 days. Special Order & Back Order items will take longer to ship. We do NOT ship to PO boxes!

When is my credit card charged?
When your order is received your Credit Card or PayPal account will be debited. We
use PayPal for Business, Google and Amazon as our SECURE CREDIT CARD PROCESSORS. Please Note that ONLY the payment processor companies -- NOT Netropolus -- see your credit card information.

Is it safe to use my credit card over the internet?
When you place orders or access your order information, we provide a secure server.
The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent
to us and our payment processors, Google, Amazon and PayPal for Business.
Our Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology is the industry standard and the best software
available today for secure commerce transactions. When you send information
from our ordering page, the information is encrypted so it cannot be read as it travels
over the Internet. We decrypt the information when we receive it, thereby providing
you with complete protection.
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot legally hold you liable for more
than $50 of fraudulent charges. Please note: In the event of unauthorized
use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in compliance to
their reporting rules and procedures.

Defective Product Exchange
Netropolus Smart Home provides Owner Manuals (via PDF), Installation Manuals (via PDF), and other relevant information about products that we sell ONLINE. Please make sure that you understand the product well BEFORE making a purchase, since:
- Orders may NOT be canceled after placement
- Products are NOT returnable unless defective; defective items may be EXCHANGED only.
Defective Product Exchange process:
- Within 30 days of the defective product's delivery date, exchange request for the defective item will be processed for merchandise that will be returned in its ORIGINAL condition.
