Return Policy 


Netropolus Smart Home provides Owner Manuals (via PDF), Installation Manuals (via PDF), and other relevant information about products that we sell ONLINE. Please make sure that you understand the product well BEFORE making a purchase, since:
  • Orders may NOT be canceled after placement
  • Products are NOT returnable unless defective; defective items may be EXCHANGED for an identical product only.

Defective Product Exchange process: 
  • Within 30 days of the defective product's shipment date, exchange request for the defective items will be processed -- at NO cost to you -- for merchandise that will be returned in its ORIGINAL condition. Netropolus Smart Home will even send you a pre-paid return shipping label.
  • After 30 days (within the manufacturer's warranty) of the defective product's shipment date: you have 2 options: 1) return it to the manufacturer directly for warranty replacement (for RCS HVAC products, call 916 635-6784; for other manufacturers' products look for a phone number in their warranty booklet), or 2) return it to Netropolus Smart Home for an exchange. Please note that with the return to Netropolus Smart Home option there is a 15% (of the defective product's original selling price, or the current selling price, whichever is lower) processing fee. With either option, you are responsible for the Return shipping cost.
  • Before Netropolus Smart Home will issue an RMA (Return Authorization), you MUST place and order for the identical item at the Netropolus Smart Home website. The new item will be ground-shipped to you within 2 business days.
  • After we have received your defective item in good condition, we'll issue a refund to the original purchaser's credit card. Refunds will be for the original selling price, or the current selling price, whichever is lower.

  • Put "Return Authorization Request" in the Subject line
  • Your Name, Order #, and detailed reason for Return (please describe how/when the defect occurs).

Upon our review, we'll send you return shipping instructions.

NOTE: We package our products for shipment with great care. If you have received Package(s) that were damaged during shipping then the shipping company is responsible for any damage to your product(s). Please contact your carrier and file a claim promptly.
